He was such a force last week against Pittsburgh, especially with the inside rush coming from a middle linbacker(ish) position. His 2nd sack was pivotal.

But today, against the Patriots, I didn't even see him on the field today until the 4th quarter. Jason Hunter took most of the snaps at left end and wasn't that effective. I saw a million other injuries, but did I miss Ayers getting injured? I can't think of any other reason for him to have so few snaps! Of course, after the Patriots 4th touchdown, nothing mattered, but I'm still baffled.
