A great 2011 season
The season ended last night to the New England Patriots in a 45-10 blow out. It was a tough tough loss, and trust me guys, i was pissed last night. This morning i am still really disappointed, and i'm shying away from ESPN, because i know they will just piss me off more with their stupidity. But to my point, this was a great season for our Denver Broncos. Full of drama, Controversy, Winning, Tebow-Mania, disappointment and a huge playoff win.
I will echo what John Bena said last week on MHR radio, no matter the result this week(Last Night) we all should feel good about this season. Our young, very young team came a long way. We all know the 1-4 start followed by a fun, dramatic winning streak filled with last second dramatics, OT wins and big plays by our defenese. We ended the season on a 3 game losing streak. Then came the pittsburgh game. This site was full of negativity, but our team came out electric, the stadium was electric, and we pulled off a big big OT win that will go down in history. That game alone over-shadows last nights loss.
So lets think of the positives, we went from 4-12 to taking the AFC West, winning a playoff game, with a first year coach. Also what Tebow did. It wasnt always pretty, he improved throughout the weeks, and won games. He cemented himself as the starter for 2012. So he'll have his first offseason full of OTA's with coaches and players, learning the offense and building around Tebow even more. He'll work with the greatest QB in NFL history, John Elway. Also we hope John Elway, Brian Xanders and coach John Fox will help improve this team with free agent additions and draft picks.
Also, we'll have a more improved Von Miller, Quinton Carter, D-Thomas, Eric Decker, Tim Tebow, Beadles, Walton, Franklin, Nate Irving, Rahim Moore, Julius Thomas and Virgil Green. We're a young team who will only improve. Changes need to be made of course, but we're heading in the right direction.
So guy's today probably will suck, but stay positive. What sucks the most is that we wont have any broncos football for another 7 and a half months.

I think you meant to say we're heading in the right direction.
But I may be wrong

We got alot more success that we could have expected....
The glass is more than half full…to make the Top 8 in the NFL AND give the home fans a great farewell playoff game to boot…this is our Team – these are our guys, it was FUN to watch and we can be very proud of what they did for us this season! They wont forget this loss when the OTA’s begin….the search to add more playmakers goes on….and we avid fans will suffer withdrawals until the draft season begins!
What a ride!
Sure, last night’s game disappointed Bronco fans. But reasons for hope abound.
I’m more hopeful about the Broncos’ long-term prospects now than I’ve been since the Josh McDaniels’ version was 6-0.

It seems we may have rediscovered the mile high magic
and that alone would be worth a season. Homefield advantage needs to mean something again.
Never expected the Broncos to win a playoff game this year. Hope to see a competitive squad again next year. Hope the offensive playcalling is a bit more dynamic and aggressive though.
Wholeheartedly agree with all your points.
A new generation of Bronco fans was forged this season.
Truth shall be known.

Your absolutely right Skotty, but we have Broncos football 365 days a year...
Now is the time to listen the GM Brian Xanders’ comment that will give us some clues to what positions will be filling when the time comes. Mock drafts will be the name of the game until the end of April, our minds will scour the free agency list for potential Broncos players and the Combines will raise our excitement and expectation levels…
Speaking of the draft, since we’re now drafting at #25 and all of the elite talent is now gone, maybe EFX will start thinking and planning for a trade partner from the early 2nd rd for us in the first. I don’t see the talent level from #25-40 being much different and it would help us get an extra pick or two. Besides there are always players in the 2nd that we just knew would be gone early in the 1st. It happens every year. The gems that might be there may include a Chase Minifield CB, Chris Polk RB, Whitney Mercilus DE, Jared Crick DE/DT, Dontari Poe DT and several others. The excitement will grow and the tensions will rise…Let’s have a fun offseason and watch our team grow.
Win, lose or draw, we are the Denver Broncos! 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain't!

Oh yeah, i've already been looking at the draft and potential Free Agents
I love and hate the offseason, so much excitement and change, but the fact that come sunday there will be no Broncos football sucks for awhile

Good stuff Scotty
I also think it is important to note, that those young players you mentioned have all had a taste of postseason experience. That is invaluable and is something you can’t learn in the offseason.
