America's Team
Living in Kansas, I'm seeing the full effect of Tebow in a pretty different light than most Broncos fans. In my life, I've been ridiculed, beat up, talked down to and insulted more times than I'd like to admit for my fandom. In fourth grade, I had my best friend rip off my brand new Elway shirt the Monday after we defeated the Chiefs in a close game. I got in a few licks, but losing that shirt was pretty devastating. But I plugged my bloody nose, went home for an hour, put on my Elway jersey and returned to school that afternoon with my head held high. The reason I bring this story up is because it's these same people who are now switching allegiance to the Broncos because of Tebow. I've had longtime Chief fan uncles and cousins who never let me cheer for my team in peace who are now on our side. And even those who won't switch loyalties are cheering for Tebow without shame. These aren't bandwagon fans we're gaining. They're true fans who will come for Tebow and stay for everything else that being a Broncos fan brings to the table. It's the same story I've been hearing across the nation... bars filled with people who see Tebow leading us and can't help but cheer. We truely are America's Team. But to be honest, even though I've been thinking about the fact that we're quickly becoming NFL fans' favorite, this really isn't why I wrote this post. The true reason is the old fashioned way of adding fans to our team. And as my family, I feel that MHR should be some of the first to know the news that I can't keep to myself any long. My wife and I are pregnant! And as long as everything goes as planned, our team will be gaining yet another fan around September 20 this year. Even better news: I've convinced my wife that if he's a boy, we can name him Myles. Go Broncos!

Congrats!
I just had a baby boy on December 8th. He came home in his broncos onesie to see the bears game and I keep him right there during the games! He changed my life for the better and is born with orange and blue blood. Congrats again dude!
Best Wishes on your great news.
I teach at a small college in Florida. My students knew I was a football fan that loved the Gators, Jags and Broncos. At first all the discussion was about Tim. But a funny thing happened along the way. People started to comment more and more about the Broncos as a team. They noticed how the Broncos came together and believed as a team. The story became so much bigger than just Tim. I don’t think my experience is unique. I think that Tim was the story that first got people noticing but many have come to admire the whole Bronco organization. I do believe that this is the start of something special.
Congratulations!!
I just want to see the Broncos score LOTS of points, beat the SNOT out of the opponent, and walk away with a humble "God Bless". How about you?
Congratulations Royal_Fan, I enjoyed the story...
Wakinyan is the Sioux word for “thunder.” Wa means flying snow and inyan means stone.
I’ve always been fascinated with the Sioux language and when you mentioned that you might name you baby Myles “Thunder” our real mascot came to my mind.
Win, lose or draw, we are the Denver Broncos! 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain't!
thanks for the knowledge.

Great story my friend...
I’m sure it was never easy for you to be “behind the enemy lines”.
And now when you look back and ahead… you know you are now going to be an awesome Broncos daddy! A new Bronco is coming…. congratulations RF!!! I’m very happy to know Myles is coming… you are a great man, you deserve it.
Please send your wife my best wishes to all your family, including the little Myles! What a great name… I just love our Myles (and also Thunder).

I had to put up with Raider and 49er fans growing up through all of Elway’s close calls and failures… Until finally grabbing a bowl in my sophomore year in high school. But All those years of torment made enjoying those Super Bowls so much sweeter.
Since Tebow has come aboard, it seems like I get questioned about the Broncos(mainly what I think about Tebow) every single time I am out in public now. The Broncos have become relevant once again, maybe more so than ever and with that notoriety are going to come bandwagoners and haters like we have never witnessed before. And this should also raise the franchise value up significantly, allowing Bowlen more flexibility with his checkbook. And as Tebow develops, the talent on our roster will undoubtedly rise as well via draft and free agents wanting to don the orange and blue. Exciting times are ahead Broncos Country!

Congratulations to you and the Mrs.
My wife and I are expecting sometime in mid-June. Ironically, We’re going in for the first ultrasound today! If We’re blessed with a boy, I have been given my lady’s blessing to name him Malikai, and my wife will call him Kai. If a girl, We’re going with Delia, and her nickname will be Lily.
Either way, boy or girl, I can’t wait to see him or her for the first time in a Broncos onesie. Even moreso, can’t wait until (s)he’s old enough to watch his/her first game, and even more go to Our first game together. Ahhhh, it’s an exciting feeling.
I’m out here in Wichita, so I know the Kansas Broncos fan’s plight all too well. It is certainly nothing close to living in or around Denver. The only good thing (to me), is the lack of dense population. Rush hour out here is a joke compared to the Denver metro area. : )
By my count, with the comments above, that’s three brand new Broncos fans.

Congratulations on your new addition to the family
One benefit of all the Tebow popularity will be all of the games that will be on local programing and may not have to spend so much for the NFL ticket in the next few years . Living outside of the Denver Market has been hard to watch the games these past years since Elways retirement . Living in Oklahoma City you never know what AFC game you will get on CBS so I have had to get the NFL Ticket to see my beloved Broncos as no one wanted to see a Kyle Orton led team get beat most of the time .
A toast to your new family.......
There is NOTHING better then being a father……Nothing…. Thanks for reppin the Broncos all those years…
My favorite quote from this post…
“I’ve always said the worst part about winning two Super Bowls was all the bandwagon fans who jumped on board to taste the glory that most of us waited our entire lives for.”
I cried like a little girl when the Broncos won XXXII
