The Option (with Tebow) is NOT a Gimmick - Mile High Report
This past Saturday, the much-maligned defense of the New England Patriots stepped up to the challenge of the Denver Broncos, and then some. As was to be expected, much the postmortem focused on Tim Tebow and the option elements of the Broncos offense. After all, those are the two things that stand out about this team.

What We Need to See in 2012 - Mile High Report
It was nice while it lasted folks. The 2011 Denver Broncos, in the midst of a regime change and fresh off the lockout, won the AFC West and beat the defending AFC Champs in the playoffs. Some of us knew the ride this year would be a roller coaster. Elite highs (O-Line, Tebow, DT, the D) and huge lows (Detroit, Buffalo, KC #2, Green Bay, the Pats).

Ok so the off season is still more than a couple of months away. Here is my two cents on what the Broncos should do or try to do in the offseason.

He needs to get out there for a while.

Isn't that awesome, he is chomping at the bit to learn his trade and I don't blame him.

I believe we’re going to see a different Timmy this season…

Yup, much better than the golf tourney's, late night talk show appearances, promoting an autobiography, doing underwear ads, etc

No excuses this time. Get you head in it and come back much stronger next year. Doesnt need to be at a Brees/Rodgers level yet, or even an Orton at 60%, but improving to 55% of his completions would be a nice step to see this QB take

Thanks Tim!

I guess it ends up being kind of a mixed blessing, being out of the playoffs. With Timmy’s injury, I’m not sure I would have liked to face the Rave-ins D. One specific hit and he could have ended up with a punctured lung or worse.

It’s going to be a great 2012 season. I can already feel it!

Like our man Tebow, I'm chomping at the bit with all the expectations of the offseason...

I love all the mocks that come out and the possibilities they might bring in the fall. Here’s to having a great and successful year.
