Looks like we'll be looking for new coordinators. McCoy will probably take the Miami HC job, he canceled his interview with Oakland. According to 9news Drew Soicher Allen wants the Oakland job bad

Wont needing a new offensive coordinator
stunt tebows growth. It has Alex Smiths
I also have to applaud Fox for sending his Patsy to scout out Oakland.
Like a boss.

I might not have been the biggest McCoy supporter, but...
I would have liked to have kept him as well as Allen. I think consistency is very important to winning. Just ask Shanahan. How many times did he change the DC? This may not be the best for anyone involved. Time will tell.
Go Broncos!
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
Martin Luther King Jr.
It is one of, if not the most important aspect to winning
We have to keep Dennis Allen, and it would be ideal to keep McCoy too. On the outside, I see how it’s easy to dog on McCoy…. but h wouldn’t be getting this much pub with other teams if he was crappy like some of us think. He did wonders for this team… and we have to remember, a lot of his play calling was dictated by our offenses lack of experience and the fear of giving the ball away.
"If you went to the Fair with this guy and you played that game where you have to throw the ball through the hole..... he may never get it through the hole, but he's still gonna be walking away with all the stuffed animals!" Prime's commentary on our very own Tim Tebow!!!

"If I had to choose between an abundance of football intelligence, or football wisdom, I'd choose wisdom every single time...... John Fox has enough football wisdom to be carried in a dump truck." Me!
I think that Denver Seriously needs to look
at hiring from within for the OC position. Keep most of the plays the same, and let Tebow and the rest of the young offense for that matter work with people they are already comfortable with. Maybe Studesville? I would love to see Chip Kelly though. But that would probably never happen.
NO!!!! our offense has been bad for the last three seasons. It’s time we go out and hire someone that has a much different offense. The McCoy offense has been a 3 year failure.
Tim Tebow is Denver's 2012 starting QB. I'm not even kind of sorry that offends some of you (including you Elway).
Too bad NE already snatched up McDaniels
He’s be a perfect OC for us…

I wouldnt argue with that
just keep him away anything GM related

only if we want to continue going 3 and out. He was a terrible play caller for us and he was a terrible play caller for St. Louis.
The pats already have all the pieces and he’d just be calling BB’s offense instead of his own which apparently is where he is incapable at the moment.

There's No Way McDaniels Would Have Come Back to Denver
He wouldn’t want to be back here neither would Broncos’ management want him back here—in any capacity.
This is sarcasm right?

I actually liked the philosophy
I just thought the playcalling was terrible 80% of the time.

I really doubt Allen goes to Oakland
I think McKenzie will bring in one of the GB cronies
C'mon, join us, there's plenty of koolaid on the Broncos bandwagon for everyone!

What makes you think Miami will offer him the job? Joe Philbin and Todd Bowles also have had 2nd interviews.
Just because McCoy personally thinks he’s the favorite doesn’t mean that he actually is.
If however Miami does offer him the job I’d like to go after Tom Cable as OC or the Packers QB coach. He runs a fantastic running game and is very familiar with the zone scheme. My only concern would be how he manages Tebow.

If Broncos' Fans Hate Mike McCoy as Offensive Coordinator ...
Just wait until John Fox hires his old pal Dan Henning to run Denver’s offense.
I'd go Hue Jackon or promote Studes.

So does Tebow. We must unleash Tim Tebow .. let him go ... turn him loose

He changed em enough to go to an option based offense to break Tebow in
I dont think Foxy is as inflexible as many here believe

Because He Realized That Tebow Cannot Play a Pro Style Offense
And that the fans would lead a revolt if he didn’t play Tebow.
Well, it worked well enough to get into the playoffs, didnt it?

Let's Also Be a Bit Rational About This
The Broncos were also very fortunate to make the playoffs. I don’t want to argue you with you, but a lot of things went Denver’s way beyond Tebow and the offense. The onside kick at Miami, Marion Barber’s brain farts in the Chicago game, Nick Novak’s missed kicks in the game at San Diego, and Oakland laying an egg at home against San Diego in Week 17.
I am glad the Broncos made the playoffs, but it took a lot more than changing the offense for the Broncos to win the AFC West.
You're missing my original point about Fox being inflexible
and the option largely went away by the Steelers game. By next year we will know if Tebow can run a pro offense or not. He has shown flashes that he can. And the fans would lead a revolt? Did you forget how awful Orton was in that 1st half against SD? And since when do the fans drive decisions by the coach? Sounds like you’re a bit bitter about Tebow having some success

There We Go Again
If any Bronco or non-Bronco fan points out any flaws in Tebow’s game, he is automatically a hater or jealous of his success. My goodness.
Im answering your strawman comment about Tebow not being able to run a NFL offense
I was countering your point about Fox being inflexible. You were the one that went off a tangent about Tebow not being able to run a NFL offense. The conversation originally started off about Fox being inflexible, not about whether or not Tebow can run a NFL offense.

Good luck to McCoy
but I really hope Allen stays in house for a few more seasons

John Elway should bring in someone that will bring back the Mike Shanhan offense.
It’s not like it won two super bowls and was always in the top ten in the NFL. It would still allow Fox to run the ball.

Bobby Turner? Shanny's longtime RB coach.

That would be nice. Wasn't he part of the coaching staff in 2009 with McDainels? I couldn't believe McDainels got rid of him.

another bright move by him. But I like Studesville a lot too.

Yeah, but that was like getting rid of Mike Leach for Lonnie Paxton
It was an unnecessary move. Then again, Im sure Turner wanted to go be with Shanny anyway

McDaniels Didn't Get Rid of Turner
Turner asked to go to Washington when Mike Shanahan was hired as head coach of the Redskins in 2010.
Yes he was. Got rid of him and Nolan
McDaniels sucks

What do people think of Tom Cable as OC? He offers a great running game in the zone scheme. My only doubt is how he handles Tim.
Tim Tebow wears 3WM and drinks Tuscan whole milk.
The Broncos Don't Run an Exclusive Zone System
They mix in zone runs, zone read options, along with a lot of power running in the form of pulling guards, traps, etc.
The Raiders had a horrible offense under him as HC
Hue Jackson was the one that turned that around

But I don't want him as HC. Norv Turner was a phenomenal OC but is a terrible HC.
My first choice would be to steal Dennison away but I highly doubt that would happen.

His team should have been better offensively even as HC
But I would like to steal Dennison

Hope all the "Fire McCoy" crowd is happy when/if he gets the job..
and we’re left with some schmuck as OC.
Good luck McCoy, much deserved if you do land it.
Hey bronco fans, phin fan here
What do you think about mccoy? Most of us like him, but I want to hear some of uour thoughts. Personally, I love his adaptability, he changed his gameplan to support tebow, and we need that adaptability. Also, I’m kinda bummed you guys couldn’t beat the hated cheatriots. Good luck to you guys next year, always been a tebow supporter (gator fan, lol), and I’m glad to see him be successful with you guys rather than the damn jests or cheatriots.

He can be pretty vanilla at times
but then again thats largely due to Tebow being so raw. I think he will be a solid HC for you guys, but as far as being great, that remains to be seen. I would dismiss his 1st 2 years under McD. McD was a notorious micromanager and was the one who was really doing all the playcalls. This would have been McCoy’s 1st year as the pure play caller
