SF provides blueprint to Beat the Steelers
The 49ers 20 to 3 win over the Steelers shows how Pittsburgh can be beat with mostly great defense.
was a key statistic in the 49ers rout.
Ben Roethlisberger has had a high ankle sprain that has limited his mobility. Dumervil and Miller need to
sack Roethlisberger as much as possible to slow down his mobility, and then the Broncos have to catch
the interceptions.
Mendenhall was also injured against Cleveland and may not be able to play which will slow down the Steelers
rushing attack.
Alex Smith threw for only 187 yards but it was more than enough with 49ers defense playing so well. Frank Gore
also converted a Roethlisberger fumble into a 5 yard running TD in the following possession.
The Broncos have to play great defense, and establish the run. Tebow has to throw for about at least 180 yards, which is considered quite low by Drew Brees standards.
The Broncos need to realize its a whole new season in the playoffs, and try to advance to the AFC championship
game.

Sounds like the game plays right into our strengths.

"Give me 22 Tebows and I'll play all the positions both ways!" "Give me football, or give me football."
We don't really get interceptions, though
And we don’t sack the quarterback much until Miller’s cast comes off this offseason.
Big Ben turned the ball over four times. If he does it again, we’ll likely win (any team would likely win). If not, I think we’ll have our hands full. If we can find a way to score 17 points, I think we’ll have a chance.
More passes? You want McCoy to call more passes? I’d tell ‘em not to throw throw the ball unless Giselle Bundchen streaks onto the field and distracts opposing corners.
Their OL is really bad though.
Ayers showed he can get there now. Especially when Ben holds it to long because of good coverage. Doom from the other side. Let Von sit out more. Hagan is satisfactory in his spot.
The best of the 2011-2012 season is yet to come.
good point, Big Ben does hold onto it a long time
which probably has our pass rushers salivating

Mendenhall likely has torn ACL.
The only time you should be looking down on someone is if you are trying to help them up, unless you are Von Miller!
Let the "Miracles" continue!

was it me, or did the steelers just have a real hard time against cleveland?
