First a story says McCoy didn't get the job because
he didn’t want to keep Bowles and then another says Philbin is looking at Bengals Kevin Coyle as DC.
R.I.P. Joe Paterno.

The first article may have been speculation on the author's part and might have had nothing to do with the real reason why they chose Philbin over McCoy...
What happened to Joe? Did he die?

DP's Jeff Legwold's article; "Broncos Put Priority On Defense in Offseason" was spot on...
Any of doing mock drafts this spring put anything other than defense for you first pick will be wrong! Mark my words, EFX will be taking the BPA at either DT, DE or CB. During yesterday’s East/West Shrine game there were a few players that might interest EFX in the mid-later rounds, but nothing really to shout about. Not to worry though, next week the Senior Bowl has all the goodys and I’m pretty sure EFX will be there all week evaluating talent from all over the country, and that won’t stop there as the National Combines in February will showcase prospects talents in a lot of different areas they don’t get to see in practice or the game. Then with the list of prospects narrowed down there will be individual ProDays to attend. As you see there is lots of work to be done to build the defense they want to put on the field…
“We made too many mistakes,” Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey said. "Quarterbacks are too good in this league, especially when you get in the playoffs. They’re in the playoffs for a reason, and if you make a mistake they punish you for it.
“And the rush and coverage, that all goes hand in hand. The guys up front can make our jobs easier, and if we cover they’re going to get sacks and pressure. But we need each other.”
Fox tipped his hand when he said the “best pass defense is a pass rush.” During these pass-happy times in the NFL, the defense that can effectively rush the passer with only four rushers will have a much better chance to defend the rest of the field. Those front-line players on defense also have to be physical enough to hold their ground against the running game when defensive backs get added and linebackers leave the field in “nickel” or “dime” defenses.

Two different articles asessing Tebow "haters"?
Interesting, considering this is similar in one aspect to the Holocaust…..some just don’t believe it is real.
Not sure what is happening around here today so
My prediction is Pats and Niners.. I am currently a Niner fan to win the SB
Go Broncos!
2011 AFC West Champions
Niners had a season similar to ours
without the Tebowmania.
As long as Brady and NE don’t win the SB I’ll be happy.

I have the Pats in a close game
and San Fran as well. But the second really is a tossup
Excuse me, do these effectively hide my thunder?

Niners for me (rooting, not predicting)
Hope the Pats get humiliated….can’t figure out why….Oh Yeah….it’s so I can say the game was all about whether Flacco or Brady is the better QB.
It seems that SOPA is at work already...
Apparently DPs Woody Paige’s article with the inference of the “Kaiser” has been deleted and censored. I got over there to late to read it, and when I did eventually go to open it, it was gone…Does anyone have a copy?

But unless No. 7 donates his right arm to Tebow, it’s not going to make much difference.
Now wouldn’t that be something: an ambidextrous QB! Roll right, roll left – doesn’t matter!
