Rumors of McFadden being traded? A Bronco perhaps?
According to reports, the Raiders are trying hard to acquire draft picks and might be open to trading McFadden for a 1st. The Broncos have needs at RB and this could be an option. Obviously there are cons to this (RunDMC's health, Broncos do have more pressing needs, etc.) but when healthy McFadden is an absolute stud. Thoughts anyone?

Hmm
My last name is McFadden, does that make me bias?
I would like to see him here if he is going to do for us what he has been doing to us !
Go Broncos!

No
In fact, hell f**cking no. The Raiders already stole our DC, now were gonna help them by picking up their oft injured RB and give them a first rounder? I was hoping to try and keep them at just 2 picks in this upcoming draft

I'd love to have him
But there’s no way I’d give a first for him. Running backs have shorter careers as it is, so it’s debatable whether it pays off to take one in the first round at all (with a few obvious exceptions)… but to give up a first round pick for a guy who’s already tacked on four NFL seasons is ludicrous.

I would love this if it weren't for his medical history.
his injuries scare me off a bit. But a straight up trade of our 25th pick for him I would do. I would hesitate at it but at 25th you can’t get a game changer like he is. He’s the single biggest reason that Oakland has had any success over us in the last couple of years. He kills us. Taking him away from the raiders would be great. I don’t really get why the would even want to trade him, it doesn’t make a lot sense from their perspective. Why give up your best player for a pick in the middle of the 1st round at best? But the more I think about the deal the more I think I would do it. He’s such a great mix of size and speed and isn’t taken down easily. You don’t find players of his talent at the 25th pick and in our running offense he would be a serious game changer. Let’s do it. They stole Dennis Allen we should get McFadden in return.
I am a fan of a team in the NBA, MLB, NHL, and NFL. I haven't seen the playoffs since April 28th, 2008 (1st round exit by raps). I haven't seen playoffs past the 1st round since January 26th, 2006. Stop and think about how insane it is. And depressing.
I would
For a second this year and a conditional next year, like another 2 or 3 for >1000 yards/pro-bowl appearance or a 5th if runs for less than 200 yards. Yes he is injury prone but is still only 24 years old. It is very likely we spend a 2nd or a 3rd on a running back on this years draft and the possibility for a game changer next to Willis and possibly Knoshown makes me drool.

I'd go for a deal like that.
But value wise that isn’t much different that just giving up our late 1st compared to a late second and than another second in next years draft (hopefully a late second, depending on how well next year goes).

I'd put in a lot more escalators than that

>800 = 3
>600 = 4
>500 = 5
>400 = 6
>300 = 7
>200 = nothing else

If he was a FA Yes, for a 1st? NO way.
Sorry, I’d rather just try and grab Bush in FA or Tolbert.
Tim Tebow wears 3WM and drinks Tuscan whole milk.
Agree. No way.
Give me Bush, Tolbert or Doug Martin. Durability should be our #1 concern with any player we bring in, but especially at RB.

Just because its the Raiders....
Charge THEM a second and we’ll take his salary…take that Dennis!
Saw this one coming
And the “nation” is in an uproar. I love it! The kid has talent, but he is not worth a first. Too many injuries. Knowshon already has the IR back position on this team.

The guy's absolute monster. Trade out of the first, get an additional 2nd and 3rd and do the 2nd this year and conditional next year for him.
But honestly, regardless of what we offer do you really think the Raiders will trade him to US? Not hardly. If they even trade him, the most realistic would be someone like the Browns or Bucs, who have high 2nd rounders. I would love to take the Bronco Killer away from them, but the probability of that happening is uncertain.

Can you find the 'W' in this mess? Tebow can.
I ROFL'd when the raiders broke the draft bank for Palmer.
They went all or nothing for the next five years, they didnt get the “all”. I still am shocked Allen even wanted that job because of the draft situation alone. Not to mention its the dirty raiders and they have a knack for hamstringing themselves in the personnel dept. with high risk medium reward moves. Eat it Oakland.

I have a feeling
we are one of the only teams they wouldn’t even think of trading him to.

doubt it
McKenzie has nothing against us and Allen, well he has a good relationship with Fox I am sure!
Hatred between those two men is not there. What makes a good rivalry? The fans & players.

This was sort of what I was thinking.
We all saw what a good relationship between coaches can do for trade negotiations when McD kept trying to win back his losses with New England (Hopefully we’d end up on the right side of this one). But I’m still not certain how the division thing would play into it. A bad trade is bad enough, but it’s 10 times worse when your fans have to focus on it twice a year. I mean, imagine if we had given up Hillis to an AFC West team. I was sick of fans no being able to move past him being in Cleveland, but if we faced him twice a year we never would have heard the end of it.

I was thinking
If they trade him they don’t want to play him 2x a year. I don’t think it has anything to do with hatred it’s just usually a bad idea to trade a superstar within ur division

We should sign Micheal Bush RB in free agency so we really F THEM UP! So when Mcfadden get hurt they are SOL! LMFAO
I wouldn’t give up more than a 3rd for him. He is indeed a beast when healthy, but when healthy is somewhat of a rarity. I think this years draft class is pretty good at RB and we could get someone maybe not as talented as DMF, but as or more productive in the 2nd – 5th round. I would prefer if we were to trade away our 1st round pick, it would be for a proven guy who can improve pass protection AND running the rock or for a defensive captain who knows how to wrap up when tackling.

He's a damage good so a first round is not doable for me...
i could give him a third round but if they will not accept it, i could still get a really good RB in the draft. i just couldn’t imagine giving a help to the Faders… :)
