No we did not. Nope, Nyet, Nein, Nichts, Hell no
Sick of hearing people say that. we earned it with wins, Period. now, if we went the rest of the year at the same pace we started and ended up 3-13 and the other division teams all got food poisoning and were unable to play so they went to us, that would be different. But they didnt. We went to THIER houses and kicked thier cabooses. Period, end of story.
I am glad of one thing. Because of how we played at the end of the year and because of who we are playing, we are underdogs. We, as in the team, seem to play better in that role.
I think we can all agree that most football players are human right? Except for Harrison and a few others, lol. And human nature being what it is, when you are an underdog and being trash talked about you tend to work a little harder, and play a lot harder. Being on top and winning too much sometimes makes you complacent. At least until you go through what we have at the end of this year. So I actually like our chances. I think the Defence is going to take it to them and I think we are going to run with a purpose. I actually am hoping Harrison tries some of that stuff with Tebow. He better hope Tebow dont see him coming. Trying to pull that in T2 is vastly different than a helpless reciever or Colt McCoy (not trying to dog CM).
All we need to do, IMHO is learn how to run some quick slants and rollout short passes to get into a rhythm. Back up our scheme a couple of weeks. I think T2's progress made the OC push a little too hard a little too soon. Give him the offseason to learn more pocket presence but right now let Tim be Tim. Pull the trigger and lets Rock the Stealers....
