I know, I know, I’m not suppose to post anything again until the John Fox era is over in Denver(by my own stupidity) but I saw this and had too. My creditability is shot, you can’t believe a word I say….yeah yeah yeah but I’m not a fair weather fan. I’m A DIE HARD so get over it! So here it is the reason for my return(all 3 days of it). I know the story, we all know the story but I’ve never seen it this way plus this is something that everyone needs to read at least once. How can you not believe in him? This guy has been told even before his birth he wasn’t going to make it, he had to go, and he still defies all odds. Well I for one believe and I will wear my 15 proudly even after his time is done with football. I can only hope my son turns into half the man he is.
Here is Pam’s Story-
In a recent email, I read about a woman named Pam, who
knows the pain of considering abortion. More than 24 years ago, she and her
husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the Philippines and praying for
a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the
intestine caused by a parasite found in contaminated food or drink. She went
into a coma and was treated with strong antibiotics before they discovered
she was pregnant.
Doctors urged her to abort the baby for her own safety
and told her that the medicines had caused irreversible damage to her baby.
She refused the abortion and cited her Christian faith as the reason for her
hope that her son would be born without the devastating disabilities
physicians predicted. Pam said the doctors didn't think of it as a life,
they thought of it as a mass of fetal tissue.
While pregnant, Pam nearly lost their baby four times
but refused to consider abortion. She recalled making a pledge to God with
her husband: If you will give us a son, we'll name him Timothy and we'll
make him a preacher.
Pam ultimately spent the last two months of her
pregnancy in bed and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy August 14,
The attending physician told his Father, “your child is a miracle baby. I can’t explain how it happened, but despite all odds, he beat them. Only a small part of the placenta was attached, but it was just enough to keep your baby nourished all these months.”
Pam's youngest son is indeed a preacher. He preaches in prisons, makes
hospital visits, and serves with his father's ministry in the Philippines.
He also just happens to play football. His name Tim Tebow.
The University of Florida's star quarterback became the
first sophomore in history to win college football's highest award, the
Heisman Trophy. His current role as quarterback of the Denver Broncos has
provided an incredible platform for Christian witness. As a result, he is
being called The Mile-High Messiah.
Tim's notoriety and the family's inspiring story have
given Pam numerous opportunities to speak on behalf of women's centers
across the country. Pam Tebow believes that every little baby you save
matters. I pray her tribe will increase!
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always!
From before birth to now Tim Tebow has been told “the mass of fetal tissue or ‘tumor’—me—had to go”
Well he answered you with: “ppreciate that!”
Well Tim you are about to be on the biggest stage of your young NFL career and ready to fight for your life once more, not to exist but to stay an NFL quarterback. You are from Manila so it’s your time to bring your own “Thrilla in Manila”!
Let’s go show us why we all back you and want to see you. Show us once more that you can prove all wrong and lead us past the mighty Steel Curtain and break down the walls of haters!
Tim-You beat the odds before are you ready for another round?
ARE YOU READY!?
As far as I’m concerned Tim you’ve already told me who is Denver’s next franchise QB, you said “ONLY ONE PERSON GETS THE BALL HERE!” You’re right so show me something, prove them wrong, and leave no doubt!
Thanks for allowing me back-This is my home! I belong here.
