Just watch the evil 4 letter and Ed told the morning crew that Tebow says he's disappointed in the coaching staff for not calling shorter pass plays earlier and more often. Ed claims Tebow also said that these shorter pass plays would allow him to get into rhythm early. I don't disagree with the opinion but I don't think Tim would say it in such an accusatory way. I had to turn the channel right after Keyshawn condemned Tebow for calling out his coaches. Really "throw me the damn ball" Johnson?
Ed being Ed?
What made the segment worse was watching Hoge go over game tape; pointing out that the spread (which Tim says he wants, according to Ed) is defensed well by the Steelers. The only problem, his analysis was crap. He used the Patriot Steelers game for the tape. It showed the spread being covered by man while allowing Troy P to spy on Brady. As the tape played - you see receivers covered, Troy staying in the middle, and the running back running a delayed route up the middle and shading to the right. Hoge points out that Brandy is "worried" about Troy and so should Tebow. Hoge points out that Troy attacks the running back - removing him from the play now that he's covered (hoge says this is a great move by Troy). Brady throws to the left sideline for an incompletion. Here's the PROBLEM-- Hoge never mentions or points out that if Tim Tebow where the QB on that Play-- He could have ran for miles since his spy was removed from the play by a short running back route. The entire left side was open and the holes in the line were huge.
Please Tim- go kick some a$$ today!
Go Broncos!
