There was nothing, nothing I wanted more than a Broncos Starter jacket when I was a kid.

I grew up in Redskins country with a healthy dose of Cowboys bandwagon fans. They all had their Starter jackets and that’s all I wanted.

My parents gave me my sister’s hand-me-down with one purple sleeve and one pink sleeve. Seriously. They gave that jacket to a 4’6" 75 lb. 6th grader.

How many haters on this site and DP whined and cried for the last year? We are further than ANYONE thought we would be. and 70% is on Tebow’s shoulders. Time to rally behind this kid as a fan base. Get behind him or get behind another team. He is here to stay.

As a Toronto resident, I make my way down to Detroit every year to watch the Lions. I’m glad you guys are on the upswing.

Excuse me, do these effectively hide my thunder?

Even though you're Canadian

I’m sure you’d say Detroit Lions>>>>Toronto Argos

Not that I know of.

My guess is that his season is done with a torn ACL or MCL.

by Matt In Canada on Jan 8, 2012 6:51 PM MST up reply actions

Wasn't sure it was dirty at first.

But watch the replay……He goes all the way down like 12" off the ground to put his helmet in Decker’s knee. He was lined up to hit him in the midsection and could’ve gone through him and made a highlight reel hit. Instead he ducked way too low than could be justified any other way except he was going after the knees.

What you saw is exactly what I did..

He could’ve easily winded him/knocked a few ribs loose… but instead ducked down to go for the knees.

Guy’s a dirtbag.

I just got home..

Sorry I wasnt with you guys today. Freeking amazing. This morning, I was working out with my cousins and was talking shit. I said Tebow would throw for over 300 yds today and the Broncos would win. Didnt know I was a sooth sayer

by AConn on Jan 8, 2012 7:05 PM MST reply actions

I like that the discipline today...

4 penalties all day. Ive had enough of the 3 man rush though.

by AConn on Jan 8, 2012 7:08 PM MST reply actions

Well, I ate a ton of wings today, and now I guess I need to follow them up with a serving of crow for my anti-Tim Tebow rant of a week or two ago.

But, I’ve always said (Well, always if you don’t count the time when I said Tim Tebow sucked, anyway.) that John Fox needs to just let Tim Tebow go out and play quarterback like Tim Tebow likes to play quarterback. I think they did that today. Awesome game, awesome win for Tim Tebow and the entire Broncos football team. Gotta love it!

And now that I’ve eaten that crow and jumped back on the band wagon (It was only a 2-week absence, I can come back, can’t I?) I think Denver will beat New England next week. Why? Because Denver probably would have beat them last time if not for all the interceptions and fumbles. Could it be Denver vs. Houston for the AFC Championship?

sounds like Decker’s knee injury may not be so bad after all.

by Mee on Jan 8, 2012 7:55 PM MST reply actions

My hat's off to McCoy for taking the straight jacket off the offense.

And, gee, a pass on first down, and what happened??? omg, maybe 3 runs into the middle stands some improvement. That aside, EPIC GAME AND WIN. Epic season. GREAT TEAM WINS and effort today. Am ELATED!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAA!

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime.
