The Stair Stepper's Award Goes To...

1. SAFETY DAVID BRUTON! The man stepped up with 8 solo tackles to lead the team, along with a pass defended. With a total of 51 solo tackles in his career, it is sure great that he decided to get 15% of them in our first playoff game!

2. ROBERT AYERS only recorded three tackles but two of them were sacks! That is a step up for him! I don't think that he has ever had more than one sack in a game. Five sacks from four different players. Can we say Robunkvondoom?

3. MATT PRATER had another mistake free day with 3 field goals and two extra points.

4. DEMARYIUS THOMAS TAKES THE CAKE WITH A STEP UP OF LARGE SWEET CHUNKS OF TURF.

For showing the Denver Bronco front office that he is the man, and yes, he can throw the ball if given half of a chance!

WHAT A GREAT START ON THE ROAD TO THE SUPER BOWL! GO TEAR UP THE PATS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

Robunkvondooooooom!!!!!!!

I would also like to hand out an award to the fans in the stands.

They forced some stops I am sure. Notably with two or three (I don’t remember) delay of game penalties. And I am not sure they can’t be attributed that horrendous snap the steelsers fumbled.

Ya buddy, the 12th man stepped up!

True indeed.

Now he’s headed home to Bill’s place to be sent on his next mission. Wonder who will take a chance on him first?

Seeing as he replaced almost the entire roster in two years

They almost had to be. EFX has one draft and one very abbreviated Free Agency in which to affect the roster.

I will admit that McD turned out to have a better eye for talent than I had thought.

He was still a lousy head coach though.

Never let them see you bleed.

Ayers was in beast mode yesterday

Loved that first sack. I actually started to tear up when DT took that last pass to the house. There is something special in the air again, I can feel it!
