What I liked from yesterday's Epic game
- Tebow fooling James Harrison on nearly every option run
- Letting the passing game go full throttle.
- Grit -- there was fire on that field
- Bruton looking like a legitimate starting safety out there. Dude is quick and can hit.
- DT looking like the fastest TE I've ever seen. Looks like that Achilles tendon is A-Ok
- Pass rush -- Big Ben looked like a wounded Wildebeest surrounded by Hyenas out there
- The prospect of Tebow getting a full offseason to polish his game as the undisputed starter
- A young team playing with authority. The avg. age on this team must be 24. The future belongs to us!

I'm loving this
Big Ben looked like a wounded Wildebeest surrounded by Hyenas out there
"If you went to the Fair with this guy and you played that game where you have to throw the ball through the hole..... he may never get it through the hole, but he's still gonna be walking away with all the stuffed animals!" Prime's commentary on our very own Tim Tebow!!!
"As iron sharpens iron, so will one man sharpen another." The Bible, by way of Tim Tebow.
"If I had to choose between an abundance of football intelligence, or football wisdom, I'd choose wisdom every single time...... John Fox has enough football wisdom to be carried in a dump truck." Me!
Agree..
Especially #1. Harrison looked like Nate Webster yesterday. (a dirty Nate Webster, but you know what I mean)
And the youth has me excited. With the way Q. Carter and Bruton have stepped up (along with Harris) it looks like we have youth at the biggest position I was worried about. I’m thinking we bring in another young CB, S, and RB; then BPA across the board. I’m honestly pretty happy moving forward at every position (other than depth obviously, especially QB an OL).
Go-Go Gadget Tebow!!!!
I wouldn't mind drafting a nasty RT and maybe moving Franklin to guard
but even if they don’t I wouldn’t be up in arms, he has looked pretty good.

Franklin's too tall to be a guard.
Especially with Tebow being 3-4 inches shorter than him. He would hamper line of vision up the middle.
Franklin's right where he'll be, RT
Win, lose or draw, we are the Denver Broncos! 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain't!
Also...
Overcoming the uncalled fumbled lateral that totally shifted the game’s momentum, as well as Champ’s dropped interception that would’ve shut down the Steelers’ hopes. It’s tough to keep competing when those opportunities are lost/missed/stolen – but the Broncos did it yesterday!
26.1 years is the team avg. age but that's close.
The prospect of Tebow getting a full offseason to polish his game as the undisputed starter
I’m so excited about next year I can’t stand it. This year is still in the playoffs, and i still can’t help thinking about how much this young team will learn and improve next year. I hope Baily doesn’t lose a step and plays till he’s 50.

yep, the future is bright
since that average age is probably highly skewed by Dawk, Champ and Goody.
We have a few of those veteran depth guys like Kuper, Hochstein, DJ and Haggan… but few long-in-the-tooth players except as DBs.
Our DB corp definitely needs more youth (as Dawk and Goody may not be back next year), but otherwise this is a very youthfull team with quality, young starters in many key positions.
DT must finally be healthy
he has not looked that fast or made those kind of cuts this year. It takes a long time to get healthy from that type of injury and he must finally be getting back to full strength. I love the idea of him playing a full season as the #1 guy.
Demaryius Thomas' speed amazed me, it was like he never had a torn Achilles tendon...
He flat out ran Ike Taylor:
Ike Taylor doesn’t have the best hips for an NFL cornerback and every Steelers fan knows that his hands are among the worst in the league. But he sure can run.
It was his size/speed combination that got him drafted in the fourth round back in 2003, even though he was an extremely raw cornerback. Six years later, he’s apparently just as fast. According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Taylor was recently timed at 4.26 in the 40-yard dash electronically.
Nobody can tell me now that DT isn’t fast…
