If Josh McDaniels could provide you one piece of intel on the Broncos, what would you like that to be?
That’s a great question. He obviously has some inside information on that team and those players, as he coached them. I haven’t seen Josh yet, so I really don’t know. I think coach Belichick has a pretty good idea of what he’s going to want Josh to do. I talked to Josh briefly but I really haven’t had a chance to sit down with him. He’s a great coach and we’re lucky to have him. I’m excited to get back to work with him. How that plays into this week, we’ll see. We’ll try to figure that out here in the next five or six days.

Yea but its going to be pretty limited intel.
We have a totally different defense, and our offensive scheme is obviously different. We run more zbs than the power scheme he installed and the route tree is most likely quite different as well. I dont think it will be an issue. It is quite the twist though..

They say the cool is all over me..
limited intel
Very appropriate terminology to use whenever discussing hoodie junior.

Here’s the only bit of info you need. If you play cover 0 they’ll beat you in the air. If you play cover two they’ll run all over you.
Managed to do that without any coaching experience.

And if you play cover 1...
We’re going to beat you with both.

The NFL really shouldn't allow this...
How many potential opponents can McDaniels give info about? The Giants, Green Bay, New Orleans, 49ers, Baltimore and Denver. Monday Morning Quarter Back asks the question “Still hate Josh McDaniels, Denver?” Yes. A thousand times more then before now that he’s crawled back under the slimy rock he came from in the first place. If Tebow and Thomas win the Super Bowl this season, I will still gladly flip him the bird if I see him.
Elway is in, Zimm is in, Little is FINALLY in but don't forget: Randy Gradishar, Steve Atwater & Terrel Davis
For those who say "In the BCS, every game counts," the 2011 season is telling you to "shut up!"

Before this, I had mixed feelings about McD
Really, he gave us a lot of weapons (including Von Miller with that second overall pick) and has a lot to do with where we are right now. But a move like this just screams B.S. and I hope he fails at everything he touches from now until the day he dies (and I hope his life is extremely long as well.) Maybe we should pay Mike Nolan to return for the playoffs since he’s played the Pats twice this year.

I fail to see your logic
so the guy who was perhaps primarily responsible for drafting you Thomas and Tebow, not to mention D. J Williams, Decker etc. is somehow worthy of hatred because ownership didn’t believe in him for more than one year? This hatred comes form where? You guys most likelt would have neither Thomas nor Tebow if not for McDaniels, and you fired him. What’s your point?
Are you serious? Wait, this is Josh McDaniels right? I hope it is you, you little POS!
Fail to see your logic? Stay out of here you jackass. Josh McDaniels spitefully traded away the best core of talented young offensive players that the Broncos and the NFL has ever seen. He spitefully ignored fixing a very bad defense and spitefully insisted on changing the most successful rushing scheme in the history of the league. Not to mention brought disgrace to one of the most successful and respected organization in the NFL? Therefore bringing this successful and respected organization down to the pitiful and laughable level of the New England Patriots!.
His draft picks were horrible and or not the right players for his God forsaken new schemes. If Pat Bowlen would have hired John Elway and a mature defensive minded coach in 2009 that would have fixed the damn defense and kept that core of talented young offensive players intact. The Broncos would be kicking your ass up and down the field every damn time they played. But don’t feel bad because they would have been kicking the asses of every damn team in the frickin league.
Fail to see your logic?! You must fail to see at all.
Victory is sweet, even deep in the cheap seats.

The media will use the Josh McDaniels card all week, he won't determine this game the players will...
Win, lose or draw, we are the Denver Broncos! 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain't!
the patriots are a bunch of cheaters and shouldn't be allowed to be in the playoffs.

You could argue a .500 team shouldn't be, either
There is no rule anywhere in the NFL saying that this isn’t allowed.

Meh. Minor infractions like the Salary cap infractions from the 90s.

I think it has to do with the Rams.
They let him leave so I don’t think there is anything anyone can do to stop it. He was pretty much an out of work douchebag…. so there was nothing stopping the Pats from letting him come to their organization. Even if he’s not he official OC (which I think he is) nobody can tell Belli who he can and can’t bring to practices or let on the sideline.
It’s shady as hell… but what can you do? If there is blame… blame the Rams for not keeping him under contract for a few more weeks.

Not to mention
Most people—including many here, I would imagine—figured the Steelers would be the victor in this contest anyways, making this a moot point.
Can I Scream?
The Rams let him leave because they clearly wanted a new direction and by letting the Pats pick him up, they didn’t have to pay the rest of his salary. Although I don’t know what would keep them from holding him for a few weeks.
He also isn’t the official OC yet. How would that be possible? It’s the end of the season! The playoffs are really just a way of re-acclimating him to the Patriots offense again so that he’s a little more prepared once training camp starts up again, when he becomes the OC (again).
I don't see how he'll help them much. Josh never let Tebow play so how will he know what info to give them? BB probably has all he needs from the college tape and his most recent starts.
This move has a lot more to do with replacing O’brien and a lot less to do with giving intel.
Tim Tebow wears 3WM and drinks Tuscan whole milk.

Guys this is a team
that already beat us handily (I know we helped them do that). I’d be less worried about what Josh can do for them and more worried about that they’ve already done to us.
Excuse me, do these effectively hide my thunder?

If he gives them anything...
…it’ll be how to misuse our personnel, treat draft picks like they don’t matter and focus the telescopic lens on the Cheat-Cam.
