United Airlines Jabs Travelers Heading Back To Pittsburgh

This is great. United Airlines had a message for passengers flying from Denver to Pittsburgh this morning. Nothing like rubbing it in!

Hey UT, what does the sign say...it is not clear enough to read on my old screen?

At the bottom, under flight info

It says “how ’bout that tebow”

REVELATION 6:8
And I looked, and behold a pale [Bronco]: and his name that sat on him was [Tebow], and [a Ferocious Defense] followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth [Quarter of the Game], to kill with [the 1st ranked run attack], and with [clutch plays], and with [bone crunching sacks], and with the beasts of the [Mile HIgh City].

I edited the picture and brightened it up.

Mixed feelings on this one...

As much as I dislike the Steelers, their fans’ class last night was pretty amazing. From my personal friends to internet bloggers, it was hard to find someone who made excuses or didn’t give us the credit we deserved. The best part about it is I have an old college roommate who is a huge Steeelers fan, and whenever we lose, he’s the first one to call me and rub it in (And vice versa of course)… Perhaps it was because I was on my knees in shock and near tears for so long after that win, but for the first time that I can remember, he actually called me first and talked about how amazing we were…

Ah hell, I still love the rubbing it in lol! Go Broncos!

They are one of the most arrogant fan bases in the country so rub it in!!!!

I agree about Steelers fans..

They are 100% class, but there is nothing wrong with a little fun, especially with a fan base that needs two hands for all their SB bling…

it's true

my Steelers’ co-worker was glad I didn’t rub it in though! I’m focused on the Patriots now, but I watched the replay, outstanding!

With Coach Zorro on our side, we will slice opponents to ribbons. Tim Tebow gives me hope and I already have faith and charity in my heart! I see a propitious future rife with Lombardis for our Broncos!

Lol my mixed feelings weren't that serious

I’m sure most if not all Steelers fans know that it’s all in good fun. As long as our players stay humble, I really don’t see anything wrong with it. (And I did send the image to my old roomate lol).

I told my wife after the game

That the only bad thing was that the only Steeler fan in the office is the only one that dont talk smack (Surrounded by arrogant Cowboy fans). Then he comes in that morning without anyone saying a word and says “Anyone who is a Broncos fan is gonna be riding home on flats today”…lol He was kidding but still not happy…:)

Tim Tebow is Denver's 2012 starting QB. I'm not even a little sorry that offends some of you.

I've never felt Steeler fans were arogant...

former Steeler players in cowboy hats, that’s different. Still, my brother-in-law is a Steeler fan and he texted me two minutes after the game…“I don’t want to hear it.” was all it said. Later my two year old daughter was throwing her rubber ducky in the bathtub and yelling “Tebow!” Winning is fun.

Elway is in, Zimm is in, Little is FINALLY in but don't forget: Randy Gradishar, Steve Atwater & Terrel Davis

So all the tweets about Tebow

Being a virgin because he is gay… courtesy of steeler nation.

And excuses about injuries?

Sounds like total class to me. Still… Screw ’em… No one asked them to come to Denver…

There's always going to be a few bad eggs in every fan base (including ours)

The overwhelming attitude I got from Steeler fans was respectful, which surprised me. A vast majority of the posts I’ve read have said we deserved the win and admitted that they were outplayed. I was really expecting an extremely negative backlash from them, so I’m going to give credit where it’s due.

Baghdad

Lot of football fans here, alot of them hate Tebow so they are shocked about what happened, it’s funny how people are mad at Broncos fans. Hey we waited a long fn time to feel this good, and we have a young, up and coming team

This.

We have a similar influx here in Albuquerque. I haven’t met a Steelers fan here yet who had any legitimate ties to PA or WV for that matter.

There is this guy I work w/who has this HUGE STEELERS YELLOW F-350 w/Steelers crap ALL OVER IT. Plates, Vinyls, Stickers, Flags, THE WORKS!!

He still had it all on his truck this morning. I wanted to leave a note on his car that just says “TEBOW!!!!”, but I didn’t. It just made me smile as I drove past it in the lot today.

No need to rub it in.

It’s not the Raiders. That’s a dick move. People who fly across the country and buy expensive tickets and see their team lose don’t deserve to be mocked for it.

by YouAreSignedIn on Jan 9, 2012 2:47 PM MST reply actions

Really dude?

Get over it. The Broncos have been mocked all season.

Besides, it’s in good fun… Only the worst of sports could get really upset about this.

Maybe if it said “Steelers Suck” I would be with you.

…maybe……
