Isn't it fun to beat the Raiders?

October 17, 2004 -- This was another case of the Broncos totally dominating their detested divison rivals, the Oakland Raiders. The 4-1-0 Broncos had traveled to Oakland to face the 2-3-0 Raiders. Oakland scored first and took a 3-0 lead in the 1st quarter. The rest of the game would belong to Denver. In the first, Jake Plummer connected with Jeb Putzier for a 12-yard touchdown pass. In the second, it was Plummer connecting with Dwayne Carswell for a 10-yard touchdown pass. Plummer got his third touchdown of the day when he connected with Ashlie Lelie for a 31-yard touchdown pass. Jason Elam kicked a 33-yard field goal and Reuben Droughns scored on a 4-yard run to add 10 points in the third quarter and close out the scoring. Final score: Denver 31, Oakland 3.

Denver so dominated the game that the Raiders were held to just 31 yards rushing.
