I'm seriously missing my favorite aftergame posts. No "No Bull Review"? sadaraine, what's up? No Studs and Duds? Sooo... Ok, fine. I'm so excited about last night's game, I wanna talk about it.
Game ball to Peyton Manning, of course. 22 of 30 for 305 yards, 3 TDs, no interceptions, 73% passing and an almost perfect 138.9 passer rating. Has the arm nerves regenerated completely? Who cares? This guy is money and kudos to John Elway for the sales job on Manning to get him here. Tebow Who?
Game ball to Wesley Woodyard. 9 tackles, 4 assists, 1 sack, 1 interception, 1 tackle for a loss, a forced fumble and a pass defensed. Can we clone this guy? If he doesn't get voted to the Pro Bowl, it will be the crime of the century. D.J. Who?
Game Ball to Willis McGahee. 23 rushing attempts for 122 yards and a TD. I think the highlight of the night was when we started the 98 yard drive on our own 2 yard line. Manning handed the ball of to McGahee 4 straight times for about 30 yards. And who can forget that dart from Manning through 3 or 4 defenders into Willis' arms for a 19 yard pickup? Yeah, he fumbled for the 12 time or something, but overall, nice game!
Game ball to the offensive line. Gotta be the best line in the NFL. Clady's returned to Pro Bowl form. Kuper is back and playing great, I noticed a bunch of Zane Beadles pulls and blocking last night, Koppen is a god-send (why'd New England ever part with this guy?). And Orlando Franklin is showing why we drafted him in the second round last year.
Game ball to Jack Del Rio and his defense. Complete game yesterday. Well done. Champ Bailey being Champ Bailey. Constant pressure from Doom, Von Miller and Derek Wolfe. They didn't sack Drew Brees last night, but there was pressure coming on every play. I saw a couple of tipped balls from Vickerson. Tony Carter and Chris Harris continued where they left off last week. Carter especially was all over guys, a Champ look-alike.
A nice 31 yard run for Ronnie Hillman. Lookin' good kid.
Demaryius Thomas is looking like a Pro Bowl receiver. Nice cuts, Manning is starting to trust this guy and he's working hard at his craft. 7 receptions for 137 yards and a TD. A 19.6 yard average. What more can you ask for?
Eric Decker is starting to look like the Bronco's version of Dallas Clark. Always open in the end zone. 2 TD last night.
Trindon Holliday is looking like a nice pickup. No drops, Had a nice 22 yard pickup and a longer one that was called back on a penalty if I remember right.
Did I miss anybody?
