Inflation? Look at ticket prices.

October 30, 1960 - according to Jim Saccomano in his book, Denver Broncos: The Complete Illustrated History, a sideline seat at Bears Field (the original name of the original Mile High Stadium) sold for $4.50 (Row 5, Section K, Seat 15) on October 30, 1960. Compare that with the $125 (endzone) to $575 (midfield) asking price for tickets at Sports Authority Stadium today.
