2nd Annual Fan Favorite Denver Broncos Cheerleader Tournament — Match 9 / Round 1

Stew Milne-US PRESSWIRE

Hello again Broncos fans. Doesn't seem like life could get any better does it? Our team starting to show its potential and playing like the championship contender that we truly are. And as if that alone wouldn't be enough, we have the best cheerleaders in the league cheering them on. The only downside... it's time to eliminate one more of them from our competition.

For those of you who missed the eighth match up, longtime Broncos fan Christina C. ended up defeating Lindy by just 21 votes. The contest went back and fourth throughout the vote and could have went either way. So make sure you get your votes in, because they will definitely count.

As always, I encourage voters to take a little bit of time and read the bios before voting (I know how distracting those wonderful pictures can be). It doesn't take long, and it can be extremely fascinating to get to know our squad. Also, more than once, my vote has been swayed by the information provided. And speaking of my vote, just like last year, if there is a tie, I will nullify my own vote declaring the other cheerleader the winner (this actually happened).

But, without further adieu, lets get down to business.

If you can't see the full bracket, just click on the picture. It should take you to the source image.

Match 9 of Round 1: Lindsey vs. Tristan

Lindsey

This is Lindsey's second season cheering for us. From Parker, this environmental consultant graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She made an early exit from our competition in the first round last year, losing to many people's favorite, Toni.

Best thing about being a Broncos Cheerleader ?
Making a positive impact in the Broncos community, including being a role model for kids, is my favorite thing about being a DBC.

Most memorable experience?
My most memorable experience was standing on the field during the national anthem and flyover at my first home game as a cheerleader. I was overwhelmed with emotion and excitement.

How do you spend your time off the field?
I spend as much time outside as possible. I love snowboarding, camping, and hiking in the mountains. I also love the water, so in the summer I like wakeboarding, boating, and going to creeks and lakes. I also really value spending time with my family.

Most memorable game?
Last season’s wildcard playoff game against the Steelers was by far the most memorable game. The 80-yard, game-winning touchdown pass was a moment that I will never forget. It was also on my birthday, so it was the best present I could imagine.

Occupation and how does Broncos affect your work?
I work as an environmental consultant. Between working full-time, practice, community service, family, and friends there is never a dull moment, but that is the way I like it. Prioritizing and time-management has helped me make it all possible!

Who do you admire most in the Sports industry?
I admire Shannon Sharpe. He broke records, won super bowls and was inducted to the Hall of Fame last year, yet he remains very humble, gracious and family-oriented. I think that no matter what you accomplish you should always remember who has helped you get there, stay true to who you are and remember where you came from and I think Shannon Sharpe has done that.

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

So we have another impossible decision on our hands Broncos fans. They're both extremely good looking and have great answers to all the questions. We can't go wrong on this one, but one of them has to be eliminated. As always, please feel free to add your opinions and any info you can find on these lovely ladies, and let me know if there's anything I can do to improve this series. Go Broncos!
