Weather Report? Don't Believe It.

Nov 11, 1979 - this was a remarkable game against the visiting New England Patriots. It was remarkable in that it started on a warm, clear day and ended in a heavy snowstorm. Denver had raced out to a 38-7 halftime lead. When the teams came out to play the second half, they found that a snowstorm had engulfed the city and covered the field in snow. Bob Saccomano, in his book Denver Broncos: An Illustrated History, shared how the vendors in the stadium quickly sold out of their cold weather apparel. Neither team was able to mount much offense in the second half and the final score stood at Denver 45, New England 10.
