Did you see Peyton Manning in Carolina? It's 29-7 with a hair over 10 minutes to play and the future hall of famer is telling guys where to line up with such intensity that you'd think it was the 2006 AFC Championship game. Unreal. Nice performance by coordinator Jack Del Rio's defense, by the way -- seven sacks for that group.

Yahoo Sports - 8

Seven sacks, safety, punt-return TD; they barely needed Manning.

CBS - 8 (Last week 8)

They go east in two successive weeks and win, which is impressive no matter who you are playing. That defense is really impressive.

Pro Football Talk - 8

If Trindon Holliday ever drops the ball before crossing the goal line again, Peyton Manning will put it in a place where it will never fall out.

SB Nation - 6 (Last week 8)

Too high? I think it's just right. At least the way the Broncos have been playing the last few weeks. Manning hasn't completed less than 70 percent of his passes in a game since Sept. 23. He's playing some of his best football.

Concensus seems to have us around that 6-8 mark which is about accurate. The Broncos season could come down to this game this week. Winning against San Diego would put us up 3 games on them plus we would own the tiebreaker so essentially four games. A four game lead with 6 games to go could be promising, especially for a team that ends the season with 2 games at home.
