A Battle of Two 1st Round Draft Picks

November 19, 2007 - Denver hosted the Tennessee Titans (their former AFL rival Houston Oilers) in a showdown between the #3 pick (Vince Young) and the #11 pick (Jay Cutler) of the 2006 NFL Draft. The Broncos were 4-5-0 going into the game while the Titans entered the contest with a 6-3-0 record. Young threw for more yards (305-200), but Cutler won the battles of completion percentage (76%-63%), touchdowns (2-1) and interceptions (1-2). Both of Young's interceptions came in the fourth quarter as Denver, after taking a 27-10 lead in the third quarter, held on to win 34-20.
