At DE We'd have Wolfe, Vickerson
At DT We'd have Siliga and Bannan, both could add a bit of bulk.
At OLB We'd have the best pass rush in the league, Miller and Dumervil
At ILB We'd have a great inside line backer duo of Woodyard and Williams.
Safety is improving. Moore is showing major signs of maturing. Leonhard showed ball skills against SD. Adams is ok at times too.
Corner is absolutely solid. Champ is still the Champ. Porter is an Asante Samuels-esque player. Always going for the big play. Sometimes giving up big plays, oftentimes creating big positives. (See: Pittsburgh Int) Harris is a stud. Carter is showing that he's been incredibly underrated by us Mile High-ers.
I predict in the next 3 or 4 years we'll switch to a 3-4. If Del Rio doesn't leave this year, he will next, especially as I think his son graduates next year, so he'll be more comfortable leaving Denver. I think we'll hire a veteran 3-4 genius and switch over, similar to the Texans. The pass rush capabilities of Wolfe, Miller, and either Dumervil or a DE we draft in an early round in a 3-4 is just too good to pass up. Defense will become our identity as Osweiler takes over and proves to be an above average but not amazing QB in a quality offensive system.
^This is my insane prediction for 4ish years down the road. What do you think?
