Trampling the Seahawks

November 23, 1980 - Denver's 36-20 win over Seattle was the Broncos' fifth victory over the Seahawks in their first six meetings. After falling behind 10-7 in the second quarter, Denver scored 17 unanswered points in the second and third quarters to take a 20-10 lead. The Seahawks narrowed the lead to 20-13 in the fourth quarter, but Denver answered with 16 more points for a 36-13 lead. The Seahawks managed one final score for the final margin. Keys to this game included Denver taking the ball away five times and sacking Seattle QB Jim Zorn six times.
