November 24, 1968 - In only his second start as the Denver Broncos QB, Marlin Briscoe completed 12 of 49 passes for 335 yards, 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, on his way to winning his second game as a starter. On November 24, 1968, the Broncos were hosting the Buffalo BIlls.

After a scoreless first quarter, Briscoe got Denver on the board in the second quarter by scrambling to extend the play then hitting RB Brendan McCarthy with a 40-yard touchdown pass. On Denver's next possession, Briscoe connected with WR Eric Crabtree for a 15-yard touchdown and a 14-0 lead. Briscoe threw his first interception in the second quarter and this led to a Bills' touchdown. His third touchdown came on a 66-yard pass ot RB Floyd Little to give the Broncos a 21-7 halftime advantage. Briscoe's second interception came in the third quarter and was a "pick-6" to make the score 21-14. He answered with a 15-yard strike to WR Al Denson to make the score 28-14. Though the BIlls made an 18-point push in the fourth, Denver held on to win 34-32.
