Box Score 1998 KC @ Broncos

Chiefs were 5-8 & Broncos were 13-0

Final Score: Broncos 35 Chiefs 31

The '98 Broncos were a force to be reckoned with...Great QB & RB coupled with a Receiving Corps of Rod Smith, Eddie Mac & Shannon Sharpe.

The Chiefs come into our House and actually put up a fight. Held TD to under 100 yards...Link To Box Score

When reflecting on the '98 Broncos, I think of unstoppable-juggernaut yet they did have their ups & downs. They didn't dominate every game and came across, at times, merely mortal.

There are several excellent threads running right now on the State of Our Broncos...We Are Winning with a good offense and improving defense.

Keep in mind that Elway had been working with the offense for several years and wasn't re-habbing a neck-injury/nerve regeneration. We had a running game that other teams dreamed of. Our OL was constructed of very late draft picks with LT Tony Jones as UD.

Our Team may not be where WE want them to be...I want them to blow every Team out...To completely dominate, but even our '98 Team couldn't do that every game.

I am so excited about our Team right now. We have some great Coaches and great Players...A FO Guy who's been there and done that...He knows how important Team Chemistry is and has worked to bring in players who can contribute & be Team Players.

We are 8-3 with our losses coming at the beginning of the Season and I think all 3 games could have been won. We had some costly turnovers and the defense couldn't off the field on 3rd downs. We are better now and getting better
