I got the fortune of watching the broncos game yesterday here in the bay area. A real treat for me, as i'd been in aurora and the springs for the last two weeks and thought id have to see it on RedZone...
what i saw was a team that knows how to win tough games. Peyton threw two picks but it didnt become insurmountable, like it did vs the texans and falcons.
What i saw was a team that can beat anyone in the league. While our lines struggled on both offense and defense, we found ways to rush the qb, and protect our own. Kuper going down hurt, but i thought ramirez did well in his absence. I didnt see peyton take any major blows.
Rahim moore is coming into his own. He makes some mistakes but overall our secondary has been fantastic.
The chefs are done. The raiders lost to tb. Chargers are the only "threat" but we manhandled them. As long as we keep handling the teams we are supposed to (and i dont see peyton, champ, dumervil or miller allowing it to happen) - the west was won yesterday.
Earlier this year i placed a bet on the broncos to go to the afc championship. I only picked that so theyd have something to shoot for.
Cinci wasnt an easy out. Keep getting it done fellas...
