Last Season was exciting, painful, anxious & aggravating...Feel free to substitute your own adjectives. We won a Play-Off Game and immediately got spanked by NE in the Divisional Game. We had a QB who had problems running an NFL Offense and had success early but DCs across the League were able to neutralize what the Broncos could do on offense.

Fast Forward to signing PFM...Ballsy move by Elway who really was the only person who could have let Tebow go considering the following he had. We also lost DC Dennis Allen but, IMO, we got an upgrade with Jack Del Rio who said he would make the Broncos at least a Top Ten...I believe he has met his Goal and then some. Elway signed some key FAs this year: Tamme, Dreessen, Koppen, Bannon, Stokely & Adams...Not to mention re-signing Woody

The Draft: Derek Wolfe, Os, Trevathan, Hillman, Jackson, Bolden & Blake...Only Os & Blake have not seen much game time.

Cliche' to say, but PFM really has raised all boats. Our Team is performing beyond my expectations. I thought it would take at least a year for the offense & defense to click. Consider that PFM hadn't played for over a year, needs to learn a new system, get to know & work with his OL as well as WRs, TEs & RBs...This has been a work in progress but progressing faster than I would have thought. We can see results from the beginning of the Season 'til now. Can anyone say that DT & Decker haven't improved? What about Knowshon? Ya think he's not motivated? I've been a Moreno critic almost from the day he was drafted, but he's playin' like he's on Fire!

Jack Del Rio's Defense: It's taken awhile, but he has them performing at a very high level and I think he needs a raise. We lost Ty Warren right away, but Big Vick, Bannon, Unrein, Ayers et. al have stepped up and what he & DL Coach have done with that Group is incredible...Very unselfish play by all the Players on the DL. Not to mention what he & LB Coach Smith have done with Von Miller and the rest of the LB Corps. Our secondary is gelling...Remember what chaos there was last year when B Dawk went down? Not so this year as Moore is playing with more confidence and not missing nearly as many plays...Props to the Coaching Staff for sticking with him. He is still a work in progress!

We've lost 3 games this Season to Teams that are headed to the Post-Season and were those games to be played now, the outcome might just be different. We took on the Bully of the AFC North and punched them in the mouth, rather than the other way around...Looking at the Steelers' page on the early games thread, much of the discussion was about the Broncos-Ravens game and most if not all the posters remarked in one way or another that they wanted nothing to do with Denver...We are scaring some Teams.

This has been a longer post than I originally intended and I'm sure I've left some aspects unmentioned...I'll close with saying how much I appreciate the work Elway & the rest of the FO has done as well as the Coaching Staff and Training Staff...We are much healthier than alot of Teams in the League and I think the New Conditioning Coach has had a big hand in that.
