Tonight, the Atlanta Falcons face the Detroit Lions in a match up that doesn't really affect playoff seeding, in any way.
Even thought this match up isn't a great one, it has the potential to be a very meaningful one in the history of the NFL. Calvin Johnson has the chance to overtake Jerry Rice for the most receiving yards in an NFL season.
With just 182 yards, Calvin Johnson will have the new NFL record. Jerry Rice set the record at 1848 yards in 1995 when he played for the San Francisco 49ers.
