Finishing a Season With a Win

December 22, 1991 - The Denver Broncos finished the regular with a narrow win in San Diego. K David Treadwell started the scoring for the Broncos with a 42-yard field goal in the first quarter. RB Steve Sewell extended the lead to 10-0 with a 2-yard run in the second quarter. The Chargers narrowed the deficit to 10-7 at the half. RB Greg Lewis added another Broncos touchdown in the third quarter to make the score 17-7. Denver then held off the Chargers who managed a touchdown in the fourth quarter for the final score of 17-14.
