End Of Season Awards

Obviously a Homer Bias here but I think we can also look objectively at the various Awards and See why Several Broncos are deserving;

MVP: PFM...So cliche' but each Player to a Man has remarked how his work habits & preparation have effected them...He really does raise all the boats. Not to mention, he's having a tremendous year with one game to go. We know that DT, Decker, Tamme, Stokely, & Dreessen are better this year because of PFM

Comeback POY: PFM...He was out a whole year and spent countless hours in re-hab ( still continuing ) to regenerate a nerve that controls his arm/throwing motion. I know the arguements for Peterson, and the Season he's having is remarkable given his injury, but he didn't miss an entire season and imagine if he to rehab a nerve that made his legs work.

Defensive POY: Von Miller wins this based on his total body of work, not just sack #s. I don't think any team can boast or promote a player like Von...Take into account his TFL, QB hits/pressures, FF, Sacks, his pick-six, and overall disruption, I think Von should win this easily.

Coach of the Year: John Fox...I see alot of Chuck Noll influence in Fox in his no nonsense approach, though Coach Fox is more personable towards the Players. He's assembled a great staff, got them all on the same page and kept them & the Players focused on what needs to be done to get better. If we go 13-3, which we should, this will have been one of the greatest runs in Bronco History.

If there were an Award for Defensive COY: Del Rio, hands down! 7th DC in as many years and they are playing lights out. I really thought we were in big trouble when Ty Warren went down in the 1st Qrtr. of the 1st Game against the Steelers...He got Big Vick, Bannon, Unrein, Wolfe, Ayers & Doom playing beyond what I thought was possible...Kudos to him and DL Coach Rogers. We know that we are improving with each week and JDR can make adjustments during the game when needed...We are better at Nickel/Dime than we were last year and have some Coached-Up Young Turks who will go make a play...I have relatively new players like Harris & Moore in mind along with Rookies Trevathan & Wolfe who have all been big contributors to the scheme that Del Rio is running. He also has Carter fitting nicely into his scheme. One aspect that has really stood out, is that we now have Players swarming to the ball...Something I haven't seen for quite some time...Great Overall Team Effort!

GM/Exec of the Year: John Elway...Brought in PFM & traded Tebow which was a huge and very Ballsy move on one hand and a no brainer on the other. He also brought in FAs: Tamme, Dreessen, Stokes, Koppen, Adams & Porter; Drafted: Wolfe, Trevathan, & Hillman, who all have significant playing time as well as Bolden who we saw much more this last week when Porter went down. Os & Clarke are development Players
