The stockings were hung on the mantle with care When into the window came a very large bear. The bear grabbed the stockings and chewed them all up! He drank Santa's chocolate and swallowed the cup. I heard all the noise and jumped out of my bed... The sight of the Big Bear filled me with dread.!! The Bear it came at me, I turned with a shout When out of the Fireplace Santa came out!! He reached in his gift-bag and pulled out a gun.. The bear saw armed Santa and turned for a run!! He leaped cross a throw-rug..out the window he flew.. And Santa hung up some stockings a'new. And Christmas went on for the rest of the day All the grownups would feast and the children would play
