As Black Monday hits, NFL Coaching vacancies cause a mad scramble and plenty of interviews. Here is a list of openings, candidates and interview requests.

The New York Jets fired GM Mike Tannenbaum. Offensive Coordinator Tony Sparano should be next.

The Jacksonville Jaguars fired GM Gene Smith.

The Cleveland Browns fired head coach Pat Shurmur and GM Tom Heckert.

The Chicago Bears canned head coach Lovie Smith.

The Bears have also received permission to interview Bucs OC Mike Sullivan for the team's head-coaching vacancy.

The San Diego Chargers will be firing head coach Norv Turner and GM AJ Smith. CONFIRMED.

The Chargers may be interested in Colt's OC Bruce Arians

The Kansas City Chiefs kept GM Scott Pioli and axed head coach Romeo Crennel.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Oakland Raiders plan to fire Offensive Coordinator Greg Knapp as well as other coaches.

UPDATE: Oakland OC Greg Knapp let go and fired interior line coach Frank Pollack. Also LB coach Johnny Holland

Andy Reid got his walking papers as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Wherever he lands, Tom Heckert may be joining him. Jon Gruden is rumored to be in the mix as Reid's replacement.

The Carolina Panthers are expected to fire head coach Ron Rivera

The Buffalo Bills have fired head coach Chan Gailey and his entire staff after 3 seasons.

UPDATE 10:14 AM: Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams gets rid of VP/COO Mike Reinfeldt

UPDATE 11:35 AM: Cardinals have announced they have fired their coach Ken Whisenhunt and their GM Rod Graves.

Arizona also fired assistant head coach/line coach Russ Grimm, Offensive Coordinator Mike Miller, offensive quality control coach Chad Grimm, Quarterbacks coach John McNulty, Wide Receivers coach Frank Reich and Running Backs coach Tommie Robinson.

Cardinals president Michael Bidwill confirmed that the team will interview Andy Reid and Broncos OC Mike McCoy for the team's head-coaching vacancy.


Update 4:30 PM: Titans keeping head coach Mike Munchak & GM Webster

FOX's Alex Marvez and Chris Mortensen report Falcons OC Dirk Koetter will interview for each of the Chiefs, Browns and Eagles' head coaching jobs this week.

The Detroit Lions fired three assistant coaches -- Wide Receivers coach Shawn Jefferson, Running Backs coach Sam Gash and Tight Ends coach Tim Lappano.

The Jets and Jaguars asked to interview 49ers Director of player personnel Tom Gamble for a GM position.

UPDATE 9:30 PM: The Bills will interview Cardinals DC Ray Horton for the team's head-coaching vacancy.

Adam Caplan reports that Oregon head coach Chip Kelly is the Browns' "clear No. 1 choice" for the team's head-coaching vacancy.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Browns and Bills will interview Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone for their head-coaching vacancies.

Updating a previous item, the Eagles will interview Falcons OC Dirk Koetter, DC Mike Nolan, and Special Teams coordinator Keith Armstrong for their head-coach

Report: Five candidates on Eagles’ owner Jeff Lurie's list -- Penn State coach Bill O’Brien, Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter, 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman, Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, and Oregon coach Chip Kelly.
