The New York Jets have a realistic chance to obtain the final wild card spot with three games remaining and losing seven to date. With Pittsburgh losing today along with Cincinnati last second loss to Dallas and a NYJ win they gained a game on both teams and now sit only one game out with three to go. Pitts final three games are @Dallas, Cinnci, and the brownies. Cinncinati's final three games are @Philly, @Pitt, and Baltimore. The jets finals opponents of the 2012 season @Tenn, SD, @ Buff. Cinnci has the best current conference record at 5-5 the NYJ at 4-5 then Pitt at 4-6, essentially the final spot is up for grabs if The Jets win out there conference record will be 7-5 And an overall record of 9-7. I'm not sure how the common opponents tie breaker is looking but the jets seem to be in great position to steal a wild card playoff spot.

All the Jets need is some Tebow magic, The jets are well aware of Tebow's abilities his bootleg qb run beat the jets and knocked them out of contention for the playoffs last year. Could carry the Jets into the playoffs? Hes got a better shot than Sanchez. The hype would be huge if the jets named Tebow the started for the Monday night game in Tennesee If they could defeat them they would roll into the next game on sunday night at home vs SD. I could see Tebow thrive with a chance as the starting qb for the NYJ. The final game of the year in Buffalo would have a do or die feel for the Jets and that should be enough to beat the lowly bills. Although the Bills did catch us by surprise in December last year but the implications weren't as dire. If the Jets could pull this off it is quite probable the Jets would be travelling to Denver for an interesting matchup of former Denver qb Tim Tebow seeking vengeance over his former team.

Denver would be favored by 10.5 would be my assumption imagine Tebow pulls off another wildcard miracle though and storms through the playoffs reaching the super bowl and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy as confetti flies. Its not gonna happen but I can only imagine the firestorm of I told you so from the Tebow faithful about the Acquisition of PFM. Its fun to think about but the jets have less than 1% chance of making it past the AFC Juggernauts and reaching the Superbowl.
