We should probably be looking hard at the D side this year- concidering our strength of schedule and how bad we got spanked by Detroit ,N.E and ,Buffalo.Will Ty Warren be ready to go by next mini-camp.How about the DB's- MLB- DT's - It's been said,That a great pass rush is the best offense.I would love to see the other guys pocket shred or colapse on a regular basis. What are our chances in the draft and free agency- Your thoughts on our defense would be helpful and interesting- Oh,who else likes the 27 year old gunslinger from Oklahoma State ,as a back-up

But one new area you’ve touched on is Brandon Weeden. But you’ve got his age incorrect. I think he’ll be 29 next October!

I, for one, really like Brandon Weeden – but not for the Broncos. I think he’s very accurate and has a great arm. Reports from the Senior Bowl (or was it the Shrine Game?) described him as the most NFL-ready QB at that game (Luck and Griffith weren’t there).

One scout told the Washington Examiner that #OkSt’s QB Brandon Weeden’s age concerns are a “joke,” as many feel he’s immediately ready.

To me, if he’s NFL-ready, then his age is less of a concern. Since he’s more ready to step in and play, he won’t need to sit on the bench observing or wasting seasons like some other QBs. And it’s not uncommon for skilled QBs to play well into their 30s. I could see a team that drafts him landing a quality starter who could give them three or four seasons. Unfortunately, that means you have to get him in the right round – probably not the first.

Teams that I believe should look at him include: The Jets, Dolphins, Cardinals and Chiefs.

I’ve seen him play quite a bit and if I had to compare him to another NFL player, it’d be Kurt Warner.

I agree Jerry, I think Weeden should go to a team that can start him early. I think he'll have the maturity and skillset to start year one for a team.

I don’t think we should be looking to draft him personally.

Agent Jerry is right

Weeden will be 29 this Fall so if he comes in and plays something along the lines like Andy Dalton did this year you may get six to ten years out of him . I’d add the Seahawks , Redskins and Jaguars to that list . He should go in the second round to one of these quarterback starved teams . The Jaguars used a first round pick on Blane Gabbert last year but they still don’t have a starting quarterback.

Jags would be a great place for Weeden.

They can’t give up on Gabbert yet, but he isn’t a quality starter. Weeden could beat him out and play right away.

I agree with focus on the defensive side of the ball. We will be going up against some

formidable offenses this year and if we want to compete we have to slow them down. DT upgrades are a must as well as an additional DE who can rush the passer, another solid #2 CB prospect, a thumping SS and a MLB.

Lots of holes to fill if we want to compete again for the division title next year since we have the 2nd hardest schedule in the league next year.

Ty Warren hasn't played football in 3 years now and that is very worrisome considering how much we paid him.

When healthy he was very good at his position, but being an injury concern has to worry EFX as well as us. We will see on him…Draft a pass rushing DT in the first or 2nd and maybe sign one in FA.

Weeden? Only if he’s still there in the 5th. We have needs all across the board still yet and maybe EFX want a veteran backup for Tebow and Weber…
