Vanity, Vanity! All, is Vanity!

The thing that most people forgot about, is the fact that the NFL is the only business in the world today, that requires the employee to be an expert in the art of Vain- it-tailia!

I have had the pleasure, and disgusting moments, to have seen both!

VANITY! ME ME! I Have Time For Nothing Else!

To actually BE vain, requires you to think about what it is that you are trying to accomplish, and saying that you CAN! So what is possibly wrong with that?

NOTHING!

Except that the individual who ends up trying to achieve that, ends up in ruin. Why? Because It was "all about ME!"

Suddenly a problem arises! Someone said something about humility! What? Now, the NFL community suddenly had issues to solve.

Humility raised a problem with the escalating prices in the value of a player! Now suddenly we are forced to be faced with the fact that there may actually BE players that cared more about the TEAM than they did themselves!

Suddenly, the fact that an NFL Player changing his Ochosinco(orwhatever) name because he didn't think that the media was giving his sorry worthless self centered personality enough coverage, no longer means anything at all.

Instead, We Have All Of The rest of the World saying that it is HIGH TIME that the NFL got some CLASS, and HIRED some real individuals who had NOT forgotten the fact that this IS a TEAM sport!!!

I'm looking at the Vanity in this world and it forces me to question why we let it all go this far! We created the monster!

Look at all of the reasons why people succeed in this life of ours. Vanity is the hands down, flat out reason for the majority of that success. What are we trying to do? Make a name for ourselves? Absolutely!

When ANYTHING comes in between that, then the Vanity poses a major problem with the results of the issue. That is why that the concept of Team, Has Been LOST, on the NFL!

Why else, would the fact that just one player on the Denver Bronco's team would raise so much Media Attention? Team Work Is More Important Than An Individual? U gotta B kiddin ME!

Without doubt, the most compelling thing that happened this year, had to do with the fact that the Denver Bronco Team was forced to get real! That alone was great!

But! Is the reason that I even wrote this post to begin with, all based upon the reality that all is Vanity? I'm sure that it is, but give me a chance to redeem myself, if you don't mind. Tell me how, and what U think!

I know the culprit behind the "me" generation

it’s called FING POP MUSIC!!! Now, I like Lady Gaga as much as the next guy, but 99.9% of this pop crap has destroyed the world as we know it. It all started with Michael Jackson and Madonna… then came the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync… now it’s Beiber. It’s all selfish, me, me, me… no humility.
