He will probably just be on our practice squad after chris Kuper gets back.

when is kuper due back?

someone here was saying he may be out 1/2 the season, which doesn’t sound right, does it? we need that guy

taste my blintzkrieg!

the 3-man rush is an admission of lunacy, cowardice, and defeat.

Kuper

Did you see the play where he got hurt? Ouch. I think he tore his ACL or broke his ankle or both or something. But ya. He should be out like 7-10 weeks. C.J. Davis will not help replace him though.

I think he dislocated his ankle

I thought I read previously he would be ready about the time training camp starts.

He actually broke his leg

Broke it so bad that his foot was rotated about 90 degrees from the rest of the leg. The good news is that those types of breaks can heal very well.

Win or lose, I'll always be a BRONCOS fan! We've had enough of the former the past few years though, so how 'bout some more of the latter.....

My guess is that if Kuper has to miss any game time

we’ll move Franklin to RG and put Ryan Harris at RT (remember the Broncos brought him back at the end of the of the year).

And now for something completely different

I've seen a couple of times

That while the injury was awful, it was “clean”, and he should be back in plenty of time for the season.

by tunesmith on Feb 15, 2012 6:36 PM MST up reply actions

Kuper's injury was anything but clean

“Clean”; are you kidding!? He destroyed his ankle…Fractured the tibia, fibula, and talus plus he dislocated the joint……Kuper probably injured his ankle as bad as a person can short of dismemberment. He has had at least one reconstructive surgery already. Any fracture of the ankle with more than a couple millimeters displacement requires surgery; sometimes multiple surgeries..I am not an orthopedist; but I sure have broken my ankle. I will be shocked if he is ready for camp or is ever the same player again.

just reporting what I've read

Something easily corrected with surgery, as opposed to something that remains extremely problematic after surgery.

Fodder, likely,

but ya never know whats in his head. Maybe he’ll play above his potential because of the QB.

Who knows? Coaches might ....

give him a shot at center. I hear Denver could use an improvement there! lol

Ya he was

All the other guys were some part of the team last year. C.J. Davis is our first Real Free Agent signing.

by Bleedorange on Feb 16, 2012 5:39 PM MST up reply actions

Actually, no.

Some of those guys were signed someway last year, some not.

But anyway, he is just 1 more sign fighting for a final roster spot.

This signature was sacked by Von Miller.

There's really not much here to agree or disagree with

This guy will fight it out in training camp for a reserve role, or he won’t.

"If you went to the Fair with this guy and you played that game where you have to throw the ball through the hole..... he may never get it through the hole, but he's still gonna be walking away with all the stuffed animals!" Prime's commentary on our very own Tim Tebow!!!

"As iron sharpens iron, so will one man sharpen another." The Bible, by way of Tim Tebow.

"If I had to choose between an abundance of football intelligence, or football wisdom, I'd choose wisdom every single time...... John Fox has enough football wisdom to be carried in a dump truck." Me!
