2012 Combine Crib Notes - Saturday Edition

Feb 24, 2012; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Denver Broncos general manager John Elway speaks at a press conference during the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE

I am stuck in the hospital minus a Gall Bladder from surgery yesterday. The WiFi here is worse than the food that I can't eat since I'm currently limited to liquids and trying to stream the Combine on NFL.com is a hopeless venture. Maybe it's all for the best (or maybe it's the Morphine Bolus), but I just can't leave the Front Page without content. So I am going to update you all on what's being reported out there Horse Tracks style. So here is what's going on.

Kaptain, you're a gentleman and a scholar

Get well soon. Thanks for all you do around here.

By drafting the same position to fill the same need in back-to-back years, you lose the ability to gain two starters with two picks. And that's the goal of every draft.
It's time to give Nate Irving and Julius Thomas their first offseason... not draft their replacement.

Oxycodone (Vicodin) agrees with me, but it also puts the GI tract asleep and I don’t need that. :)

Ask about methylnaltrexone (sp?)

I’m not sure how it works, but my aunt got some in the hospital after her post-op pain meds constipated her. She got a shot of it, and crapped pretty quickly after that.

I almost sent you a sandwich today. But then I thought with gall bladder problems, you were probably on a restricted diet.

When do you get out and when will be back on real food? I’ll send some chow.

It's like you're dreamin' about gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly brie time, baby!.
