Broncos have potential to make a splash in FA
The Broncos have more free cap space this off-season than almost all other teams in the NFL. I, like most of you do not want to deter from the building through the draft route, but it is nice to have all of this space. After we resign the guys we want to resign, we can definitely add quality depth and maybe a starter at positions like S, OL, ILB, CB. What are your thoughts???

Yes. Prater, Colquitt, Bunkley, Thomas are a must
Followed by Woodyard, Royal (as a PR), Fells, Rosario, Haggan.

I don't see the Broncos breaking the bank in FA
Maybe Dan Connor to compete with Irving at MLB, a veteran safety to complement our young guys and maybe a CB. I doubt Denver pursues Carl Nicks or even Ben Grubbs, even though I’d like a veteran G to bolster the interior line and make Beadles the utility backup instead of Hochstein.
Dan Conner is very very very underrated. He is a top 15 maybe 10 MLB.
Would be a great pickup. Our starting LB core could be fully trusted and Mays could work in on running downs.
Denver Broncos $101,389,121
It doesn’t look like the Cowboys or Jets have much cap room.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

There are quite a few "value signings" that could happen in FA. I am looking forward to a LB, DT and hopefully a CB, RB and WR as well.

Nice to know there are others from around here who bleed orange and blue. Live in CT, go to school in Bridgewater, MA.
On the Free Agency Note:
MARIO WILLIAMS if available don’t really care to much about overpaying for him
Laron Landry for a good price
any above average CB for a good price
A true #1 WR would be nice if we have the dough to spend on one. (Stevie, Bowe, DJax, Colston etc… there are A LOT)
DT will be our true #1 WR
Not that it would hurt to add any of the ones you mentioned
too many easy drops.....

Glad to see your around but I think your wish list is too pricy. I think we will gO after solid FAs maybe at S OL and possibly 1 more but I think we re sign our guys maybe trade dj (I’m not for it but we lose Woodyard if DJ stays) and that’s about it. 3 potential starters or competition like for Beasles or Irving and a couple solid depth players would is a good period as long as we draft well

we got the 2nd hardest sched
next season & i think this would be a great idea to have Manning, the broncos were 1 good QB away from a SB this season.
NO PRESSURE... NO DIAMONDs

I'd be up for just resigning the key players for the broncos and signing only two free agents.
Hopefully one of those two are Dan Connor. However, I like building through the draft. That’s why the Giants can have the best pass rush in the NFL without breaking the bank.
I would love a FA period of Dan Conner, LaRon Landry (if cheap, and he probably will be than most expect) and a solid OG to compete for Beadles spot. Sign a number 3/4 wideout and royal as well with other depth. My current mock w/no trades looks like this.
1. Fletcher Cox-DT MISS
2. Doug Martin-HB BSU
3. Micah hyde-CB U Iowa
4. Marquiz Maize-Bama
5. Trevin Wade-CB AZ
5. Will Blackwell-G LSU

Manning
Signing Manning would be a stop gap at best. I feel like the guy is done, but that is just my feeling. I would like our team to look at people who have five yrs at least left to make a long term impact on our team. There was a lot of positives this year but many negatives as well. So many holes to fill. Wr needs help. Impact T.E., D.T. ILB. Safety, C.B. OL needs help/ Just adding one guy “manning” would be cool to see but what would his long term impact be? All I see is the delay of the future by hiring a MERC.
Beadles comments are off-base
Walton is the lineman that needs upgrading. I’m seriously toying with the idea of taking Peter Konz from Wisconsin at 25 to solidify one of the best young offensive lines in the league. Not a sexy pick but he may be the best value at that spot.
