yeah, i saw that… at first i thought they just made a typo since Pepsi’s ROY is really cam newton. but then you keep reading after the title and the whole article keeps going on about tebow. mistakes happen but it’s hard to understand how they whiffed that badly.

It is a bummer. Cam had a great rookie year.
He surprised a lot of folks including me. Good for Cam, I hope that he can keep his nose clean, keep improving and enjoy a great career. He was snubbed by the NFL magazine and has been unjustly overshadowed by Tim Tebow whom he clearly out performed in 2011.
Victory is sweet, even deep in the cheap seats.

We can’t blame Tebow for the craziness that follows him though. It’s not really his fault that he has been made out to be the cult of personality by the media. I think both those guys have the potential to shift the paradigm of the league.
