Miller almost healed and ready to lead Broncos

Stay connected for news and updates

Pro Bowler Von Miller is still recovering from a injured ligament in his thumb that hampered him down the final 5 games down the stretch, including the two playoff games. The injury occurred in the 4th Quarter of the San Diego game in November. The injury required surgery that made him miss one game and also required him to wear a cast for the rest of the season and playoffs.

Now almost two months since the Denver Broncos final game, Von Miller is still recovering from the injured ligament. He is training at Athletes First in Irvine California, getting ready for the Broncos OTA's in April. Miller has told Pro Football Weekly that he is almost fully healed from his thumb injury, and is ready to improve heading into his second season

"My offseason is going great; My thumb is about 90% healed," Miller said." I'm getting a lot of therapy on my hand and working on my upper body strength "

Miller will be trying to improve on his rookie campaign where he tallied 64 tackles, 11.5 sacks and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl.
