Questions About Manning and Losing Tebow

First off I just want it to be known that I was a Broncos fan before I was a Tebow fan, but I am a massive Tebow fan and I want him to be the quarterback for the next 10 years. However, if Peyton does come to Denver I would fully support him. I feel like a lot of people are in the same boat I am.

With that said, it seems like Manning will probably come to Denver and I would be fine with that if it didn't also mean that we will also be losing Tebow in the near future as a result. I know that Peyton is a better quaterback right now than Tebow, but I don't think I can support signing Peyton right now Tebow leaves. I think he is the future and will be a successful quarterback with the Broncos if he is given a chance. Even if we get Manning I don't understand why the Broncos are going to trade Tebow, it seems like if you gave Tebow two or three years to learn and play in a few formations he could really improve and be ready when it is his time again. Also, if the Broncos don't win a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning they will have basically wasted 3 or 4 years.

Anyway, I was wondering if anybody could answer a couple questions about this situation to help me understand what the reasoning behind all of this is:

What are the benefits of Peyton over Tebow? I understand some of the short term benefits, but what about long term?

What exactly is so great about Peyton Manning that should make me excited about him coming here?

Why would the Broncos trading Tebow if Manning comes?

Why should I want Peyton Manning on the Broncos over Tebow?
