Please STOP! I’m sick and tired of every time someone doesn’t like the idea of Manning coming to Denver “It’s a Tebow thing.” Why does it have to be a Tebow thing? For me it’s a ‘nerve thing!” How many of the people reading this right now have ever played Pro Football, my guess none, just like the writer. I was invited to camp by the Denver Bronco’s in 2003 so I know a little about how tough it is to play in the NFL. I know how important it is when trying to play this game that you have complete feeling in your entire body. Last year it was reported that at times Manning couldn’t feel his fingers! Couldn’t feel them! That’s one reason I’m not sold on this idea. Now I’m not stupid and I know some don’t want Manning simply because of Tebow, but not EVERY SINGLE PERSON and yet every comment section has a post that says “It’s a Tebow thing.” We say Kyle Orton, two years ago struggle throwing the ball after 13 games of heavy work, and now I’m just suppose to agree that Manning is at full strength again. Sorry-Can’t! He hasn’t played in over 15 months the next time he will start a regular season game is almost 2 years (calendar not seasons-Jan. 2010 to Sept. 2012) since his last. He had 3-4 surgeries to his neck were bones fused together to the point the nerve was damaged and we all act like well “he’s fine now-the player he used to be.” I’m not buying it. I’m a Tebow guy, but was a Bronco guy before that. I’m still a Bronco guy and that’s why I have a concern. Yes Manning was an elite talent and might still be, but until I see it with my own eyes-I’m not ready to call Manning my future. To me Manning is Mr. Right now, not Mr. Right until he proves he can go a full season again. I beg all of you to get past “It’s a Tebow Thing” because to some of us it goes much deeper.
