Manning and the Broncos

I'm sorry, but at the risk of having people accuse me of being a "Tebow Freak", I simply want to know what good it will be spending tons of money on Peyton Manning, at the risk of slighting other positions, for the TEAM of the Denver Broncos. Peyton's whole scenario of telling the NFL where he will play, being a prima donna like LaBron and Howard to basketball, to me smacks of a 'ME ONLY" attitude. I cannot believe the bull crap of our FO running around the country looking like a horney high school kid begging the cheer leader for a date. Now granted, 5 years ago, Peyton would have been a definate godsend. But now??? 4 surgeries, 36 years old? check NFL history, when did a 36 year old have any kind of come back???? So answer me this MHR: We bring in Manning, what do we do with Tebow??? Who will be the back up???? What happens in two yrs when Peyton retires??? Heck, what happens the first time Peyton gets hit and half his vertabrae fall out of his neck and he is left on the field paralized??? I am serious about the Denver Broncos. I love this team. I love where we are going and what we have the potential to do. I simply do not understand what good Peyton would be as a QB. Are we not building toward the future and a dynasty???? Not trying to be a miopic a-hole, but I seriously would like a rational reasoning on this matter and how it will help long term. If we brought Peyton in as an advisor to the QB position, regardless of who it is, that to me makes sense. But as a player, and at the reported cost to the team???? Someone help me understand this. Thank you to everyone.
