What would you do if you were Manning? Really? If your goal is to win at least as many SB's as your brother before you retire, again, where would you go?

To a team with a really great defense who is, seemingly just a small step away from SB nirvana. Or, to a team that is close but BM (before manning) everyone presupposed was 2-3 years away.

Now, there may be other considerations but it seems to me that SF must be the favorite. And, Alex Smith won't have much trouble finding another job.

Anyhow, if Manning chooses us I will be happy as I think it will mean that he thinks we give him the best chance to make the SB. But, if he doesn't, and I think that is most likely now, I will be happy because I really want to see what TT can do given a little time to develop.
