Consider the plight of poor Alex Smith. He took his team to the NFC Championship (further than Aaron Rodgers AND Drew Brees) and has several years of experience under his belt and yet his coach is willing to throw him under the bus to get Manning. (Of course, Alex Smith was coached in college by Urban Meyer also.)Tebow should be able to look at that and feel a lot better about this situation. It is not so much about him but, perhaps, Urban Meyer. Or maybe Manning is just seen as being that good.
