Stay connected for news and updates

In the mix of the Peyton Manning saga, people have been waiting and waiting for news on the Broncos.

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms to re-sign linebacker Joe Mays.

Mays has spent the last two seasons with Denver after coming to the Broncos from the Eagles.

Last season Mays played in all 16 games starting in 13 and making 67 tackles.

Joe Mays will compete with second year inside linebacker Nate Irving for the starting spot in training camp next year assuming that the Broncos do not pick up any other inside linebackers.

Adam Schefter reports the deal is for three years
