Lost throughout this entire Peyton Manning chase is exactly what Tim Tebow was thinking as he saw the Broncos look to replace him. According to a radio interview with the wife of a former Florida Gators teammate, Tebow was not surprised the Broncos were looking to replace him with Peyton Manning, and in fact, missed home.

Monica Culpepper, who's husband Brady played at the University of Florida had this to say about Tebow - and where his head is at:

"Brad and I just had dinner with Tim last week and I don’t think this comes as a shock or surprise to him that Manning was actually going to go there," she said. "And in all honesty, Tim said, ‘I miss home. I miss the South. And hopefully I’ll land somewhere in Florida.’ I sure hope Jacksonville takes him because he’s such a great kid, such a good player and would be so thrilled to come back to the South."

What that means for any trade involving Tebow is up in the air, but it is no secret the best possible landing spots for Tebow could be the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins. Listen to the entire interview below.
