Now that I will be a regular on the MHR blog for obvious reasons, I wanted to say a few words about PM arrival in Denver. I have read many articles and updates on MHR in the last few days, and I feel that although there is excitement but it is somewhat reserved. More of a cautious optimism when there should be just unabashed jubilation . Broncos fan, you have hit the jackpot! for landing one of the greatest QB in NFL history. You should thank your lucky stars !! Forget that PM will make Bronco an elite team, that is just a mere fact, now you'll get to witness a complete mastery of an offense so mesmerizing to watch that you will realize that you're a Football fan 1st, and you love watching an offense in it's purest form. Like the Maestro directing a Mozart's symphony. ..and you get to call him your own. You'd want every game to last a little longer just so you can see your QB take few more snaps. Forget that Broncos will never be blown out of the game like Detroit and NE last year, now you'll get to see your QB making a mockery of opposites teams defensive game plans. ..and you get to call him your own. In the next couple of years you will notice yourself whining about a 12-4 record, you'll commend your teams FO for drafting elite receivers like DT and ED, and your HC and OC for the gameplans. You will forget what 3 and out even means, and be genuinely surprised when that actually happens. You'll soon start to think that 20 dropbacks with zero sacks mean you have the best pass blocking OL on the planet. You'll start to believe that opponents DBs and LBs have a habit of scratching there heads while on the field, and same for their DC for nodding his head side to side, on the sideline. Your team will score so quickly and so often that you'll start to blame your defense for being on the field for 40mins of the game and not able to get off the field quickly after a 35-14 Broncos blowout.

Pray that PM decides to play his 5yr contract out before retiring on his own terms. You had to wait roughly 15 years after Elway to get his equal, you may never find PMs equal after he retires.
